Our specially sourced ULMW (ultra-low molecular weight) Sodium Hyaluronate is a white, hygroscopic fine powder sourced as a very low molecular weight in Daltons (Da).  There are several types of Sodium Hyaluronate based on molecular weight (molecular mass) referred to as Daltons.  This specific type is classified as ultra-low molecular weight combined with the sodium salt structure promoting water solubility means it can penetrate deeper into the skin, providing better hydration beyond the surface.  This is especially beneficial for dry, dehydrated, or damaged skin.

Our ULMW grade Sodium Hyaluronate bonds to collagen on one side and water on the other, lending to hydrating the skin and reducing fine lines.  It has been known to reduce the inflammatory response and promote regenerative healing.  Sodium Hyaluronate has the ability to penetrate the skin and does not gel like the HMW-Hyaluronic acid, so it can be incorporated up to 10% without changing a formulation's viscosity.  Hyaluronan is a major component of the extracellular matrix, and plays a key role in tissue regeneration, inflammation response, and vital phases of wound repair.
