Glidetab™ P125 Direct Compression Tableting Base
Glidetab P125 is a versatile robust direct compression tableting base that can be used with numerous active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). It imparts superior flow, compaction, particle size distribution, and binding properties resulting in optimal content uniformity and final product stability. Glidetab P125 also offers enhanced lubrication properties and exhibits superior brittle fracture and plastic deformation characteristics for problematic direct compression tableting formulations.
With its unique amorphous surface structure resulting from proprietary processing, the increased surface area is a five-fold increase, as well as in a 30-50% compaction increase compared to traditionally processed Microcrystalline Cellulose. The increased surface area enables superior flow characteristics, resulting in improved content uniformity and stability in final formulations. Average particle size is 125 microns.
