Vet PasteRx™ Anhydrous (Chicken Flavored) allows for easy oral paste compounding of lipophilic/hydrophilic APIs, where oral administration in a paste form is appropriate. Formulated to incorporate thixotropic properties with the consistency of peanut butter under static conditions, but applying heat or low shear will reduce viscosity, allowing it to become easily workable. This property gives this base the ability to consistently handle high ingredient load with excellent content uniformity, as well as being an easy to use vehicle for administering in an oral syringe or UnoDose™ type applicator.
It is a brown, creamy paste that is flavored with our Rotisserie Chicken Natural Powder Flavor Concentrate (Vegan) (SKU: F0169), a smell pets are sure to love. In addition, it contains our proprietary Bitter-Bloc™ Technology, giving it optimal palatability. This vehicle incorporates only natural ingredients/flavors and is naturally preservative-free, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of oral veterinary applications. Vet PasteRx™ Anhydrous (Chicken Flavored) is allergen, dye, gluten, antioxidant BHT free and offers extended beyond-use dating (BUD) per USP <795>.
