Excellatab™ RDT Direct Compression Tableting Base

Excellatab™ RDT (Rapid Dissolve Tablet) is a proprietary direct compression tableting base designed for compounding RDTs. It is formulated with our natural Bitter-Bloc™ Technology to block bitter notes found in many APIs. Depending on tablet size and compression force, Excellatab™ RDT dissolves in 20 seconds or less (based on a 0.5 g, 10 mm diameter placebo tablet trial). This base is formulated to handle high and low API loads in both human and veterinary tablet applications, exhibit excellent flow properties, and resist sticking to punches. It requires a relatively low compression force, making the compounding process easier on equipment and reducing tablet component stress. Recommended API load is ≤25% while maintaining ≥75% excipients total (including additional powder flavors, sweeteners, colors, etc.). Excellatab™ RDT is sugar-free and formulated as an all-in-one rapid dissolve tableting excipient that is press-ready, saving the compounder time, extra steps, and costs.
