HyaluronV™ is an anhydrous emollient base infused with hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate-HA) through a unique microsphere formulation specific to SpecializedRx. When applied, sodium hyaluronate-HA easily releases to penetrate and nourish the contact surface. This emulsion has excellent tack and adheres to mucosal surfaces, making it a great choice for intravaginal or rectal compounding applications. It imparts thixotropic properties* where applying shear or increasing the base temperature will reduce viscosity, allowing it to become easily workable. This property makes HyaluronV™ easy to administer from an applicator or load into a syringe from an Unguator® jar.

*This base imparts thixotropic properties where high shear mixing or heating may decrease its viscosity. Use of disposable mixing blades is recommended to reduce viscosity fluctuations. When left at room temperature, it will return to its original viscosity. For syringe or applicator filling, it is recommended to fill using an Unguator® (piston style) jar immediately after mixing. The addition of wetting agents (if required) may change the viscosity of the base. Contact a SpecializedRx representative for further product use information.
