Supposi-Plex™ V65 Suppository Base

Supposi-Plex™ V65 is a unique emulsifying suppository and ovule base that is derived primarily from glycerides of plant origins. It is formulated mainly for vaginal compounding for female hormones and vasodilators, but also suitable for rectal applications. This base is commonly used to help enhance dispersibility and absorption by improving the wetting of mucosae for incorporation of oil soluble and water-soluble medications. It reduces the feeling of dryness and improves the sensory profile lacking in other vaginal suppository bases. Additionally, it is stable at room temperature, non-irritating, and does not require mold lubrication. Supposi-Plex™ V65 has a melting range of 33-35°C (91-95°F).

During summer months, it is recommended to use expedited shipping for suppository bases due to the melting temperature of the product.
